Manage your password and security settings to keep your account safe.
Accessing Security Settings
- Go to Personal Settings
- Select the Password & Security tab
Password Management
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Navigate to Password & Security
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click Update Password
Password Requirements
Your password must meet these requirements:
| Requirement | Description |
|---|---|
| Minimum length | At least 8 characters |
| Complexity | Include uppercase, lowercase, and numbers |
| Unique | Cannot be the same as your previous passwords |
Security Best Practices
Password Tips
- Use a unique password for Conviso
- Don't share your password with anyone
- Change your password regularly (every 90 days recommended)
- Use a password manager to generate and store strong passwords
Account Security
- Enable additional security features when available
- Log out from shared or public computers
- Be vigilant about suspicious account activity
- Report suspicious activity to your administrator
Forgot Your Password?
If you've forgotten your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Click the link and create a new password
⚠️ Important:
Password reset links expire after 24 hours. Request a new one if yours has expired.
Troubleshooting
Can't log in after changing password
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Make sure you're using the new password
- Check if Caps Lock is enabled
- Try the "Forgot Password" flow if needed
Not receiving password reset emails
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify you're using the correct email address
- Add Conviso to your email allowlist
- Contact your administrator for assistance
