1. Upload Assets​

The Asset Manager allows you to upload image and GIF files with the following restrictions:

  • File Types: Only image and GIF files are supported.
  • File Size: Files must not exceed 10MB.

How to Upload an Asset:​

  1. Click the Add Asset button.
  2. Select an image or GIF file from your computer.
  3. Ensure the file meets the size and type requirements.
  4. The upload process will begin, and you’ll see a progress notification.
  5. Once uploaded, the asset will appear in the list or grid view.

Note: If the file size exceeds 10MB or the file type is unsupported, you will receive an error message.

2. Create Folders​

Organize your assets by creating folders. Folders allow you to group related assets for easier management.

How to Create a Folder:​

  1. Click the Create Folder button.
  2. Enter a name for the folder.
  3. The folder will appear in the list or grid view.

Tip: Folder names are automatically normalized to remove special characters.

3. Switch Between List and Grid View​

The Asset Manager provides two viewing modes:

  • List View: Displays assets in a table format with details like name, size, and upload date.
  • Grid View: Displays assets as thumbnails for a visual overview.

How to Switch Views:​

  1. Use the View Mode Toggle buttons located at the top-right corner.
  2. Select List View or Grid View based on your preference.

4. Search for Assets​

Quickly find assets by using the search bar.

  1. Enter the name of the asset in the search bar.
  2. The Asset Manager will filter the results to match your search query.
  3. Clear the search bar to view all assets again.

Note: The search is case-insensitive and matches partial names.

Tips for Success​

  1. Keep File Sizes Small: Ensure your files are under 10MB to avoid upload errors.
  2. Organize with Folders: Use folders to group related assets for easier navigation.
  3. Use Search Effectively: Use descriptive names for your assets to make searching easier.
  4. Preview in Grid View: Use the grid view for a quick visual overview of your assets.

Common Questions​

What happens if I upload a file larger than 10MB?
You will receive an error message, and the file will not be uploaded. Resize the file and try again.

Can I upload other file types?
No, only image and GIF files are supported.

How do I delete an asset?
Click the delete icon next to the asset in the list or grid view. Confirm the deletion to remove the asset.

Can I rename a folder or asset?
Currently, renaming folders or assets is not supported.
