Messaging in Conviso: Overview

Conviso provides a robust, multi-channel messaging system designed to help you reach your users wherever they are. Whether you're sending a one-time promotion, a real-time alert, or a complex automated journey, our platform ensures high deliverability and easy management.

Supported Channels

Explore our detailed guides for each messaging channel:

📱 SMS Messaging

Direct, high-impact messages for alerts, OTPs, and promotions. Support for Twilio and Termii.

✉️ Email Messaging

Rich, personalized emails for newsletters, transactional receipts, and lifecycle marketing.

🔔 Push Notifications

Engage your mobile app users with instant notifications via Firebase.

💬 Slack Integration

Send internal alerts or customer-facing messages directly to Slack channels.

📲 In-App Messaging

Show messages inside your mobile or web app (modals, banners, inline, inbox cards). Delivered via the Conviso SDK — no external provider required.

See the In-App Messaging guide for setup, the editor, SDK endpoints, and analytics.

Help Desk

Customer support conversations (web widget, email, WhatsApp) live in Help Desk, not in campaigns. Start with the Web Widget or the Help Desk overview.

Core Features

Across all channels, Conviso offers consistent powerful features:

  • Dynamic Personalization: Use

LiquidJS syntax to tailor every message with user attributes or event data.

  • Unified Campaign Builder: Design multi-step journeys that swap between channels based on user behavior (e.g., "Send Email; if not opened in 2 days, send SMS").

  • Intelligent Scheduling: Respect user timezones and set optimal firing windows to maximize engagement.

  • Global Deliverability: Our multi-provider architecture ensures that your messages reach their destination even if one provider is experiencing downtime.

Getting Started

  1. Configure Providers: Head to Organization Settings > Providers to connect your accounts (SendGrid, Twilio, etc.).

  2. Verify Senders: Ensure you have verified identities (emails or phone numbers) to send from.

  3. Create Content: Use our rich editors to draft your message templates.

  4. Launch: Start a Broadcast for immediate blasts or build a Campaign for automated flows.

Best Practices

  • Consent First: Always ensure users have opted in to receive messages on the specific channel.

  • A/B Testing: Test different copy and channels to find what resonates best with your audience.

  • Monitor Analytics: Keep an eye on delivery, open, and click rates to continuously optimize your strategy.
