Installation - Python SDK

The OpenCDP Python SDK is hosted on PyPI. It allows you to natively track events, identify users, and manage push notifications from your Python applications.

Prerequisites​

  • Python 3.8 or higher.

Adding the Dependency​

Install the OpenCDP SDK using pip, poetry, or your preferred package manager:

pip install cdp-python-sdk

Alternatively, you can add it to your requirements.txt:

cdp-python-sdk>=0.1.0

Initialization​

Initialize the SDK in your Python application:

from opencdp import OpenCDP

client = OpenCDP(
    api_key="YOUR_OPENCDP_API_KEY",
    region="us" # or your specific region
)

You are now ready to track events and identify users in your Python application!
